7 Days Death Game: Eye

In this survival horror adventure, you play as an 18-year-old anthropology student at Nanto University who becomes trapped in a cursed game that kills players within 7 days. The story involves discovering two cursed games (an RPG and a platformer) linked to mysterious deaths and paranormal phenomena; your girlfriend Ren and friend Yuto die early, pulling you into the investigation alongside professor Kawazoe Yushinosuke. Gameplay alternates between real-world 3D exploration (using DS D-pad and touch screen) and in-game modes where you control a 2D RPG or side-scrolling action platformer to solve puzzles and collect 'Kaonashi' parts for alternate endings. The DS dual screens represent your 'left eye' ability, showing hidden elements like ghosts (Regrets) that cause screen noise or allow touching invisible white/red handprints to progress. Characters include Ren, Yuto, and later revealed figures like the survivor Daizen Hoki. What makes it stand out is the unique split-screen horror mechanic blending reality, curse games, and psychological terror, with multiple routes, hidden items, and branching endings.
