About the Game
Ys follows the adventures of Adol Christin, a young swordsman who arrives at the island of Esteria to investigate the mystery of a vanished civilization. The game features a unique bump combat system where players attack enemies by running into them at specific angles. Players explore dungeons, gather clues from townspeople, and collect the six Books of Ys to uncover ancient secrets. Known for its memorable music and fast-paced action, Ys established many conventions that would define the action RPG genre.
