出发 阿源君 夕阳下的大工物语

Ikuze! Gen-San: Yuuyake Daiku Monogatari is a beat-'em-up platformer where you play as Gen-san, a determined carpenter in a small Japanese town called Borumoku-machi. Players control Gen-san and his childhood sweetheart Kana using a giant wooden mallet to smash evil construction workers and bosses, while jumping, crouching, and using special skills. The story follows Gen-san's fight against the corrupt Black Wood Construction Company, which threatens to destroy the peaceful community; the plot involves a love triangle with Kana (a rich girl's agent) and his childhood friend. Gameplay features over 8 job transformations (e.g., sushi chef for hunger recovery via onigiri made by Kana), mini-games where residents reward Gen-san, and side-scrolling action stages packed with colorful details and collectibles. What makes it stand out is its cute, wholesome vibe and ties to the classic Hammerin' Harry series, blending simple platforming with charming town life and heartfelt character interactions.
