A Ressha de Ikou MD

A Ressha de Ikou MD (A-Train) is a railroad simulation game in the Artdink series. Players build and manage a railway network connecting map endpoints using the day-controlled A-Train to lay tracks and build stations. At night, train schedules are adjusted and development spreads along lines, generating income to expand. The game features multiple scenarios with increasing complexity. It stands out for its real-time day/night cycle management, resource optimization, and strategic route planning in a classic tycoon style; players must balance construction, operations, and profitability while expanding the network. No specific story characters, but scenarios represent various real-world or fictional rail projects. This Japan-exclusive port on Sega Mega Drive emphasizes hands-on railroad empire building.
