About the Game

Aikatsu Stars! My Special Appeal is a 1-player rhythm game on Nintendo 3DS where players act as a new 4-star school idol starting their career. Gameplay centers on timing-based song performances with rhythm inputs synced to tracks, supported by dress-up customization for idol outfits, facial expressions, and body. Story mode follows a personal narrative as the player pursues the top idol title with the S4 group, choosing groups and paths that branch based on desired idol image for replayable quests. Key characters include Yume-chan (the player's customizable idol) and S4 members Ako, Mahiru, and Yuzu; the player can also create original idol characters. What makes it stand out is the massive character variation (up to 100,000 combinations) through design tools and the branching story that changes based on group choices.
