About the Game

In Awatama (Soul Bubbles), you play as a young shaman apprentice tasked with caring for lost souls by blowing protective bubbles through a series of dreamy, cavernous stages. Using the DS stylus to control air blasts and animal masks, create, split, join, deflate, and burst bubbles to navigate wind currents, enemies, water, fire, and other obstacles while collecting stardust for high scores. The story unfolds across eight worlds and 40 levels, with the Gateway Cube as the final destination for the souls. The game stands out for its innovative touch-screen mechanics, calming atmosphere, and art-game style that feels like a natural fit for the DS.
