Battle of Olympus, The

The Battle of Olympus is an action-adventure RPG played on the Game Boy. You play as the hero Orpheus in a sidescroller with light platforming, controlling sword and shield while jumping and attacking enemies across a map of ancient Greece. The story follows Orpheus rescuing his beloved Helene from Hades, gaining powers from the Greek gods along the way. Key characters include Orpheus, Helene, and various gods like Zeus, Athena, and Hephaestus. Standout mechanics include non-linear exploration with optional side quests, password saves, and acquiring mythic items such as the Harp of Apollo, Sword of Hephaestus, Staff of Prometheus, and Sandals of Hermes to defeat bosses like the Hydra and Hades.
