About the Game
Bleach: Dark Souls is a 2D fighting game on the Nintendo DS featuring fast-paced, multi-plane combat with up to four players via Wi-Fi. Players build custom Spirit Card decks and collect power crystals to enhance abilities on the lower screen, directly affecting opponents through interruptible cards. Story Mode follows a non-canon narrative set between Aizen's betrayal and Ichigo's departure, involving mini-games and battles against Shinigami, Hollows, and bosses. Playable characters include all from the prior DS title plus 17 new ones (e.g., Soul Society fighters and Hollows), with personal story arcs. The game stands out with expanded decks (four cards displayed), touch-screen card activation, and unique startup animations allowing opponents to interrupt. Single-player and multiplayer modes offer deep customization and fast action rooted in the Bleach universe.
