About the Game

In the 2001 N64 version of Bomberman 64 (known as Baku Bomberman in Japan), the player controls Bomberman in open 3D environments to fight enemies and collect Gold Cards for the true ending. The story involves the peaceful Planet Bomber being attacked by the evil Altair using a mysterious Black Fortress that drains its energy. Adventure mode guides Bomberman through 24 perilous areas, battling allies of Altair and destroying bases. It stands out as the first Bomberman title to use full 3D graphics with free-roaming movement and bomb-jumping mechanics, inspired by Super Mario 64, blending strategy, platforming, and collectathon elements in a unique 3D adventure experience.
