About the Game
In Bomberman Tournament on Game Boy Advance, Bomberman travels Phantarion's overworld to rescue his partner Bomberman Max after five meteors (the Dastardly Bombers) crash and freeze the planet. Players use classic bomb-dropping mechanics to clear enemies and obstacles while recruiting 25 Karabons (Charaboms) that serve as companions or are fused into stronger ones for battles. Towns offer NPC dialogues and coliseum fights for gold and upgrades; overworld has mini-games and secrets; dungeons require puzzle-solving with special Karabons to progress. Power-ups like extra bombs, larger blasts, or bomb-throwing enhance the Zelda-like adventure. Multiplayer mode lets up to four players compete in eight arenas with custom rules. It stands out as the first Bomberman on GBA with deep RPG elements, 25 recruitable characters, and portable multiplayer.
