Cars 2: The Video Game is a third-person racing game based on Pixar's 2011 film. Players control 25-35 car characters including Lightning McQueen, Tow Mater, Finn McMissile, and Holley Shiftwell as they train as world-class spies at the C.H.R.O.M.E. facility. Story missions include races, battle races, hunters, survivals, and attacks across locations like the Oil Rig, using gadgets such as repellers, stuns, attractors, and invisibility. Up to four players can participate in single-player story mode or multiplayer. What stands out is the cinematic story mode with clearance levels, 3DS stereoscopic visuals for depth, and spy-themed challenges not found in prior Cars titles.
