About the Game

中国象棋 is a digital adaptation of the traditional Chinese board game Xiangqi. Players engage in turn-based strategy matches on a 9x10 grid, positioning one General, two Advisors, two Elephants, two Chariots, two Horses, two Cannons, and five Soldiers per side. The objective is to checkmate the opponent's General. It includes AI opponents and single-player training modes. What makes it stand out is its faithful replication of Xiangqi rules and piece movements, making it an accessible entry point for strategy gamers on the NES/Famicom platform.
