About the Game
In Story of Tor ~The One Who Inherits the Light~, player controls Prince Luo of Poseidon Kingdom as he discovers a legendary golden armband on a mysterious island. Equipped with this power symbol, Luo summons elemental spirits to aid his adventure and stop the revival of an ancient demon threatening the realm. Gameplay features side-view action RPG elements with fluid combat, exploration of elemental temples, and spirit summons that grant abilities like healing, fire attacks, and shadow manipulation. Key characters include Luo the prince, water sprite Dito for HP restoration, fire spirit Ifrit for offense, and shadow entity Shade for obstacle navigation and saving allies. What makes it stand out is its orchestral soundtrack by Kyuzo Kurosawa, vibrant cel-shaded visuals on the Mega Drive, and the unique armband-based power system blending action and RPG progression.
