Classic NES Series Vol. 29 - Castlevania

Classic NES Series: Castlevania is an action-adventure platformer port of the 1986 NES game. Players control Simon Belmont, the descendant of a legendary vampire hunter, who uses a magical whip called the Vampire Killer to fight through the stages of Count Dracula's castle. The gameplay features precise platforming, whip attacks that deal damage to enemies, and sub-weapons like daggers for range. There are 18 stages divided into six areas, each ending in a boss fight. The story involves Simon's quest to defeat Dracula, who returns after 100 years to destroy humanity. It stands out for its faithful recreation of the classic 2D mechanics with smooth GBA controls and no major additions, capturing the original's tense atmosphere and challenge.
