About the Game

J.League Super Top Players is a traditional soccer simulator for the NES/Famicom using the Datach barcode reader accessory. Players select one of ten J.League teams and scan a team card to load it for matches. Gameplay includes a full season mode with 18 games per team, split into two three-minute halves where players choose formations like 4-4-2, 4-3-3, or 3-5-2 before each game. Additional modes cover penalty kick practice and team tournaments. The story follows real J.League teams battling for the championship title.
