About the Game
Demons of Asteborg is an action-platformer with metroidvania elements set in the Kingdom of Asteborg. Play as Gareth, a knight of the royal guard, on a perilous journey to prevent Zadimus from destroying the kingdom by reopening a portal to the demonic realm. Fight horrifying monsters and uncover the ancient war between humans and demons through side-scrolling levels with platforms, enemies, and bosses. The story involves Gareth's mysterious past as the son of a legendary witch and his training by foster father Bohort. Gameplay features basic controls (A for attacks/combos, B for jumps, C for special abilities) plus eight unique magical spells per level that enable creative solutions to puzzles and combat.
