Detective Opera - Maid in the Opera 2

Tantei Opera Milky Holmes 2 is a detective romance adventure game for PSP. Players take on the role of the new protagonist Ellery Himeyuri, a 15-year-old detective at the Holmes Detective Academy who replaces Kobayashi Opera as the agency leader of Milky Holmes. The story follows the four academy students—Sherlock Shellingford, Nero Yuzurizaki, Hercule Barton, and Cordelia Glauca—who form the detective team and use their unique 'Toys' (special abilities) to combat thieves and the Empire led by Arsène in a future Yokohama where detectives and phantom thieves fight with superhuman powers. Gameplay combines text-heavy visual novel sections for dialogue, character interactions, and choices with interactive Quick Command Animation sequences for branching story paths and dramatic confrontations during investigations and battles. It stands out for its 1980s laser-disc anime-style cutscenes, voice acting, humorous and serious tones, and ability to deepen prior storylines while introducing new characters and mysteries.
