Disney Planes

Disney Planes is a flight simulation game based on the 2013 Pixar animated film for Nintendo 3DS. Gameplay allows players to fly as various planes through diverse global environments, completing story missions involving races, ring passes, crop dusting, and obstacle avoidance in ten different locations. There are 29 chapters in story mode where players take turns as different characters, with simple controls for soaring, looping, and basic stunts. Separate modes include racing and balloon popping challenges. Story follows the adventures of crop duster Dusty and his friends as they protect Piston Peak from threats like a tornado. Playable characters include Dusty, Ripslinger, El Chupacabra, Bulldog, and Ishani, each with unique mission sets. What makes it stand out is its accessible Pilotwings-style controls tailored for young players, movie-accurate environments, and fun non-violent objectives that capture the film's themes of friendship and adventure. The 3DS version features no multiplayer.
