Donkey Kong Land

Donkey Kong Land is a side-scrolling platformer for the Game Boy where players control Donkey Kong and his nephew Diddy Kong to recover stolen bananas from King K. Rool. Players can switch between the two heroes at any time, with Donkey Kong being the stronger character and Diddy Kong the faster one. Gameplay features classic platforming elements like jumping between platforms, swinging on vines, stomping enemies, and using items such as barrels or tools to solve levels. There are 30 levels across 6 worlds with unique city-themed stages. The story begins after Cranky Kong challenges the duo to recreate the success of Donkey Kong Country on the limited Game Boy hardware.
