About the Game
Double Dragon is a side-scrolling beat 'em up where brothers Billy and Jimmy Lee fight through the Black Warriors gang to rescue Billy's girlfriend Marian. Players punch, kick, and use weapons like bats and knives across urban environments from city streets to enemy hideouts. The NES version features both single-player story mode and a competitive versus mode where players can fight each other. Its combination of martial arts combat, two-player co-op gameplay, and memorable enemy designs made it one of the most influential beat 'em ups of its era.
