About the Game
Double Dragon (Neo Geo) is a one-on-one fighting game spin-off based on the 1994 film. Gameplay features a conventional fighter style with four attack buttons for punches or kicks of varying strength and speed depending on positioning. Special charge moves are executed by combining regular specials with extra button presses; unique mechanics include dashes, air guards, air throws, and down attacks that let characters jump over and strike downed opponents. Single-player mode pits the player against all ten selectable fighters plus bosses. Billy Lee (faster Sou-Setsu-Ken style) and Jimmy Lee (stronger) are the protagonists, with twin brothers also able to transform for special forms. Marian is a female gang leader and childhood friend of the brothers. The game includes interactive stages and is set in a gang-ruled city where the Lee brothers seek a Double Dragon medallion.
