About the Game
Ecco the Dolphin is an action-adventure game where you play as the bottlenose dolphin Ecco on a quest through underwater worlds and alien spacecraft to stop hostile aliens from disrupting the ocean's balance. Gameplay involves swimming, ramming enemies, using echolocation to map areas and interact with glyphs, and singing to communicate with other sea creatures or operate objects. Ecco must surface periodically for air while managing health and air meters. The story follows Ecco as he journeys to the Arctic to meet the wise Big Blue whale, discovers Atlantis' sunken ruins, travels back in time to Earth’s past, and confronts the Vortex aliens on their planet.
