About the Game

Elysion is an action-oriented RPG on the NES/Famicom where players select a hero and race (Minos for strength, Aylex for intellect, Dionea for dexterity, or Viskam for balanced stats) to form a customizable party. Combat uses real-time melee combat with A-button attacks and B-button menus for status, magic, equipping, and drinking potions, featuring turn-based enemy movement. The story follows a summoned hero journeying across the land to collect scrolls and defeat the evil Baal, preparing for the final confrontation. Key characters include King Elysion (the quest giver), the princess, and a minister. What stands out is the hybrid action-RPG style with close-range combat and weight limits, unique among 1988 NES titles.
