About the Game

F-14 Tomcat is an arcade-style flight combat game for Game Boy Advance, an enhanced port of Turn and Burn: No-Fly Zone. Players pilot an F-14 fighter jet in aerial dogfights and missile evasion over endless ocean missions. Mechanics include locking onto enemies with missiles or machine gun, evading heat-seeking missiles, and in-flight refueling. Gameplay consists of over a dozen missions where you destroy designated targets and fend off waves of MiGs. Visuals feature subtle day-to-dusk shifts with semi-3D effects and camera switching. The story involves China and Taiwan tensions with your carrier in the South China Sea. What makes it stand out is the detailed flight simulation and realistic combat on the GBA handheld. No named characters; control the pilot. Single-player and multiplayer modes available.
