Fantasy Simulation War 1&2: Enhanced Edition

Langrisser I & II is a tactical SRPG developed by Chara-Ani and published by NIS America. In Langrisser I, players command the young mercenary Ledin in a war-torn kingdom to recover the legendary Sacred Sword Langrisser while uncovering his tragic backstory. Langrisser II shifts to the noble knight Elwin, who must claim the ancient sword to end a devastating war between two kingdoms. Players form a squad of mercenaries, manage individual unit stats, assign jobs and classes that change abilities mid-game, and execute turn-based tactical battles with terrain effects and terrain-specific unit advantages. The game features voice acting, enhanced HD graphics, and orchestral music in the remastered versions. It stands out for its deep squad-based tactics, memorable characters, and story that spans two campaigns with branching paths.
