Ferret Monogatari

Ferret Monogatari: Watashi no Okini Iri is a Japan-only digital pet simulation game for Game Boy Color in which players raise and care for a ferret. At the start, players choose one of three randomly colored ferrets (black, white, or mixed). The ferret stays mostly in its cage, where players must regularly fill its water and food bowls, clean its litter box, and check on its health. Players can take the ferret for outdoor walks, during which it may get into playful or sometimes aggressive encounters with local cats, or engage in simple minigames such as a race, assembling a picture, or dancing. The game features no deep story or characters beyond the customizable ferret and focuses on virtual life simulation mechanics like feeding, cleaning, and petting.
