Gravity Falls - Legend of the Gnome Gemulets

Gravity Falls: Legend of the Gnome Gemulets is a side-scrolling platformer for Nintendo 3DS based on the animated series. Players control the Pines twins Dipper and Mabel, switching freely between them during gameplay. Dipper uses Gnome Battle Cuffs for close-range combat and flashlight for clues; Mabel employs a grappling hook for high areas and bedazzled sweater sleeves for ranged attacks. Purchase upgrades and items from vendors, with backtracking like a metroidvania. The story involves Dipper and Mabel solving the crisis in the gnome kingdom by collecting tools/weapons around Gravity Falls, battling paranormal creatures and restoring order. Features humor, original story, and exploration. What stands out is the character-switching mechanic with unique abilities and the faithful yet expanded lore from the TV show.
