Hiryuu no Ken Special - Fighting Wars

Hiryuu no Ken Special - Fighting Wars is a pure fighting game in the Hiryuu no Ken series. Players select from a roster of 13 characters (including Ryuhi, Hayato, and new ones like Muguruma Shiro, Sagat Pashirin), each with unique martial arts style movesets. Matches are one-on-one versus in tournament mode, with single or two-player multiplayer options. It includes training segments and rapid button-press minigames for stamina/exercise mechanics. The game features fast-paced action with special attacks and super moves. What makes it stand out is its focus on pure one-on-one combat without side-scrolling exploration or RPG elements, deep character moveset variety across fighting styles (kung fu, karate, etc.), and its position as an entry in the series with canceled US release plans. Gameplay emphasizes timing, combos, and punishing mistakes in matches.
