Holy Ark

Shining the Holy Ark is a first-person dungeon crawler RPG set in a fantasy world. The player controls Arthur, a silent mercenary swordsman, along with Melody (shaman), Forte (wizard), Rodi (ninja), and up to three additional reserve party members. Gameplay involves node-based exploration of towns and dungeons, turn-based battles with pixie summons for directional attacks, and menu-driven combat where characters swap in real-time. Battles are random encounters; towns allow free exploration, shopping, and recovery. The story follows the group hired by the King of Enrich to capture the renegade ninja Rodi, leading to a crash that awakens spirits and sets off a war against the Vandal Rilix to prevent the revival of the 1000-year kingdom. It stands out for its mature, darker adult-oriented story, first-person 3D/2D polygonal visuals, adult themes, and innovative pixie system. Characters include Arthur (POV hero with magic access), Melody (healer/summoner), Forte, Rodi (secretly playable), and others like Lisa and Basso.
