Holy Magic Century

Holy Magic Century is a role-playing game where you play as Brian, an apprentice mage from the Melrode Monastery in the medieval kingdom of Celtland. Brian's father went missing while investigating the theft of the powerful Eletale Book, and Brian must collect elemental gems held by four powerful enemies to prevent destruction. Battles trigger automatically upon enemy encounters and use elemental spirits tied to the four game buttons for wind, earth, water, and fire spells, with gems allowing ability upgrades and power balancing. The game features over 20 levels, 10+ monsters, and emphasizes strategy in spell choices to survive intense encounters. It stands out for its unique magic system and isometric exploration in a fantasy world resembling Ireland, though the Game Boy Color version adapts the original N64 title with adjusted mechanics.
