Honshougi - Naitou 9 Dan Shougi Hiden

This game faithfully adapts the Japanese board game Shogi for the Famicom. Players take turns moving pieces on the standard 9×9 board to capture opposing pieces and checkmate the king. The D-Pad moves the cursor or hand, the A button selects or places a piece, and the B button cancels. There are no difficulty or handicap settings. The interface shows the player and opponent in a traditional Japanese setting, with their visual representations moving in sync with the game.
