About the Game

Janggun-ui Adeul is a 1-on-1 fighting game for the Famicom based on the 1990 Korean film The General's Son. Players control the hero Kim Do-han in simple button-mash combat against street thugs and bosses. The game captures the film's theme of a gangster-turned-politician fighting for justice amid Japanese occupation-era corruption. It stands out as one of Korea's earliest licensed fighting games with choppy animations but faithful character portrayals from the movie.
