Kings of the Beach - Professional Beach Volleyball

Kings of the Beach is a two-on-two beach volleyball sports game for the NES. Players control professional athletes Sinjin Smith and Randy Stoklos in practice, match play, and tournament modes across five beaches. The game follows standard volleyball rules where teams score points only on serve, with side-outs on errors. Tournament mode features increasingly difficult opponents like Calvin, Mack, Selznick, Wilfred, and others. Controls use the D-pad for movement and A/B buttons for serves, bumps, sets, spikes, and blocks, including Stoklos' signature one-handed Kong block. It stands out as the first major home console beach volleyball title, capturing authentic pro play with real-world player data and colorful LA-style soundtrack.
