About the Game

Mega Games I is a 3-in-1 compilation for Sega Mega Drive (PAL) released in 1992. It bundles three diverse games: puzzle (Columns), racing (Super Hang-On), and sports (World Championship Soccer / World Cup Italia '90). Gameplay in Columns involves aligning three identical colored jewels in any direction to clear them, with combo chains and a Magic Jewel power-up; the pile fills from the top, and you survive as long as possible. Super Hang-On features high-speed motorcycle racing across global tracks with arc-style handling; an Original mode lets you sponsor upgrades and recruit Mia Ferraru as rival. World Championship Soccer is a top-down football sim where you control teams in matches against 24 national squads, managing formations, attacks, and defense without free kicks or fouls. Story/characters are minimal or absent across the bundle—no deep narratives, but Super Hang-On includes the original-mode rivalry with Mia Ferraru. What makes it stand out is its diverse genres in one cartridge for value on early Mega Drive bundles.
