About the Game

Mickey Mouse II is an action-platformer puzzle game for the Nintendo Game Boy developed and published by Kemco. Players control Mickey Mouse as he navigates a haunted castle to rescue Minnie Mouse, kidnapped by the Horned King. There are 29 levels where Mickey must collect a set number of keys to unlock doors leading to the next stage. Mickey cannot jump; he uses stairs, slides, pipes, and warp passages for movement while avoiding villains that cost lives on contact. Cheese items provide 1-ups. The game stands out for its clever level design relying on exploration and planning, single-screen puzzle environments, and its adaptation of the Crazy Castle series formula into a Mickey Mouse story.
