Mr. Nutz

Mr. Nutz is a 2D side-scrolling platformer where players control the red squirrel Mr. Nutz across six themed worlds. He runs, jumps, swims in select levels, collects acorns and coins, and defeats enemies by jumping on them, swiping with his tail, or throwing nuts. Each level features four to five stages with secret areas, health bar (up to six hearts), and optional bonus stars for perfect clears. The story involves stopping the villainous Yeti Mr. Blizzard from freezing the entire world using his magic. Mr. Nutz stands out with his enormous tail as a powerful secret weapon that one-shots many foes and the charming anthropomorphic squirrel protagonist. The Game Boy Color version adds more detailed backdrops compared to the original Game Boy release. No time limit; levels are open-ended with password save and no difficulty options.
