Namco Prism Zone - Dream Master

In the kingdom of Oltaria, peace ends when the Black Master kidnaps Princess Rina's soul and traps her in the Black Dream. King Akinas summons dream masters to rescue her, but none return. You play as his disciple, the young Mugenroushi, tasked with entering the nightmare to save the princess, defeat the Black Master, and free the trapped masters. Gameplay mixes adventure and action in single-screen top-down rooms shrouded in fog that reveals as you move. You navigate using inventory puzzles, hidden passages, and item management (carry up to 8 items). Combat is turn-based with options for normal, constrained, or charged attacks targeting weak points; luck affects hit rates and you can use special items like dragon stones or genies. Death is permanent but levels are short with password saves. Seven dream chapters feature unique boss fights and story cutscenes.
