Noobow

Noobow is a simple 2D puzzle-platformer developed and published by Irem exclusively in Japan in 1992. Gameplay features Noobow (the yellow puffball mascot) walking and solving puzzles by picking up and placing single items (blocks, bucket, parachute, shovel) to help NPCs in need – no combat, no deaths, no fail states, and actions are reversible. Main mechanics involve stacking objects or using items to climb, descend, or assist characters. Progresses through seven chapters helping a baby whale, cooling moles, feeding squirrels, and more amid weather chaos. Story is light-hearted: Noobow resolves issues with the sun and rain. Only main character is Noobow.
