Pac'n Ball

In Pac'n Roll, the player controls Pac-Man as he rolls through 3D stages on the Nintendo DS. Use the bottom screen touch pad to swipe and roll him forward, dash, or brake, while the top screen shows the action with Pac-Man visible as a rolling ball. Story mode follows young Pac-Man training at Pac-Master's during school holidays; the Ghosts turn him, his friends, and family into balls using magic by the villainous Golvis, who craves rock 'n roll. Help the fairy guide Pac-Man save his friends by rolling through levels, collecting pellets to open Golvis Gates, and navigating hills, jumps, seesaws, chutes, and moving platforms. Avoid dangerous Ghosts that steal lives and collect a specific number of pellets per level. It stands out for its innovative touch-screen rolling mechanics that integrate the DS hardware fully, plus a light prequel story tying into the classic Pac-Man universe.
