Pagemaster, The

The Pagemaster is a 2D side-scrolling platformer game. Players control Richard Tyler, a boy transported into a magical library where books come to life. Gameplay involves navigating three themed worlds (Horror, Adventure, Fantasy), using sword combat, flying stages, and special abilities like jumping higher or sticking to walls. Players jump on enemies to defeat them and collect items across levels. The story follows Richard entering the Pagemaster's library and fighting to save the worlds. Standout elements include genre-specific mechanics, colorful graphics, and atmospheric music. Game modes are primarily single-player with no multiplayer.
