About the Game

Pit-Fighter is a 2D side-scrolling fighting game for Sega Mega Drive featuring digitized sprites of real fighters. Players select from three unique characters—Buzz (powerful wrestler), Ty (agile kickboxer), and Kato (precise karate master)—each with distinct movesets, speeds, and powers. Combat involves punch/kick attacks to deplete enemy energy bars, with crowd interference via weapons or pushes, plus super moves activated by holding all buttons. Up to three players fight simultaneously, progressing through 15 matches including grudge matches and a championship against the Masked Warrior. What makes it stand out is its arcade-accurate digitized animation and real-time scaling on Mega Drive.
