Pyramid Magic Special

Pyramid Magic Special is a puzzle-platformer for the Sega Mega Drive where you play as an explorer searching for a hidden treasure in ancient pyramids. Gameplay involves single-screen levels filled with stone blocks, treasure chests, a dirty crate, and a floating mummy guardian at the exit. Players must solve intricate puzzles by lifting, kicking, or destroying blocks in exact sequences to obtain keys and parchment that dissolves obstacles and clears paths. The game emphasizes trial-and-error trial layouts with no pause option for studying, using lives gained from speed runs. It features 40 reworked or rearranged levels that maintain the original's challenging formula but vary the obstacle arrangements for fresh attempts. This title stands out as an addictive, low-stakes time-waster that captures the essence of puzzle-platforming with precise block manipulation mechanics.
