About the Game
River City Ransom EX is an enhanced remake of the NES classic beat 'em up for Game Boy Advance. Players control high school tough guys Alex and Ryan as they fight through gangs across River City to rescue Ryan's girlfriend Cyndi from the villainous Slick. The game features side-scrolling brawler combat combined with RPG elements where defeated enemies drop money to buy food and items that permanently boost stats. This expanded version adds new moves, additional shops, more items, and extra story content while preserving the original's quirky humor and addictive progression system.
