About the Game
Mega Man Powered Up (Rockman Rockman in Japan) is a remake of the 1987 classic on PSP. Players control Mega Man or the eight Robot Masters to defeat Dr. Wily's robot army and rescue Dr. Light's creations. The story features Dr. Light creating Mega Man as a heroic robot and Dr. Wily attacking the lab to seize the robots. Gameplay involves 2D side-scrolling platforming with Mega Buster shooting, jumping, sliding, and charging shots; New Style mode adds difficulty options and wide-screen level changes. Eleven characters including Mega Man, Roll, and Proto Man are playable. It stands out with chibi-style 3D graphics, two new Robot Masters (Time Man and Oil Man), and remake fidelity to the original while incorporating PSP features.
