About the Game

Sakura Note - Ima ni Tsunagaru Mirai is an adventure RPG where you control an average fifth-grade boy whose life intersects with a girl named Nanami Yoshida who has just transferred to his school. Set in two towns and surrounding countryside, the story revolves around a mysterious gang of ghosts targeting Nanami and a pair of cherry blossom trees one of which is withered while the other blooms out of season. Using the My Fate System you interact with NPCs through dialogue choices that trigger specific emotional responses. These emotions manifest as blue tears that unlock additional story scenarios and deeper connections. Battles against enemies occur using a simple courageous versus evasion mechanic to earn more tears. Nobuo Uematsu composed the evocative soundtrack while Kazushige Nojima wrote the scenario. The game stands out for its emotional depth heartwarming ending and unique tear-collection mechanic that ties personal choices directly to advancing the narrative.
