About the Game

Sakura Wars GB: Geki Hanagumi Nyuutai! is an adventure game published by Media Factory for the Game Boy Color on July 28, 2000. The player’s avatar joins the Imperial Combat Revue’s Flower Division for a one-month trial with the goal of becoming its captain, raising abilities through training and receiving a title when the in-game month ends. Based on the adventure portions of the Sega Saturn version, its battles use the LIPS selection system instead of the traditional war-simulation format; it also includes events with female characters, minigames, and infrared communication with Pocket Sakura.
