About the Game

Scrabble is an unreleased Sega Mega Drive title based on the classic word-building board game. Players form words by placing letter tiles on a virtual board to score points and outwit opponents. The interface follows Scrabble rules but feels slower and more awkward than the physical game due to digital controls. It supports 1-2 players and was planned for a 1994/1995 release but remained a prototype only. No story or characters are present; it is purely a strategy game of vocabulary and word formation. What stands out is the faithful yet simplified adaptation to a handheld-style console, though the cancellation left it as an unfinished concept without further development.
