Speedball 2 - Brutal Deluxe

Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe is a futuristic sports action game where players control the worst team, Brutal Deluxe, to turn them into champions. Gameplay involves fast-paced matches in which players tackle opponents, throw a metal ball at goal, collect power-ups and multipliers for bonus points, and attempt to knock out rival players. Story follows the league's rise after a failed Speedball 2 season, with teams competing in high-contact cyberpunk-style play. Key characters include the Brutal Deluxe squad, with individual player stats and positions like goalkeeper, wide defenders, midfielders, wingers, and center forward. What makes it stand out is the combination of extreme sports action and deep team management via a manager screen for training players and buying/selling talent.
