About the Game

Shadows of the Empire follows Dash Rendar, a smuggler caught between the Empire and Rebellion during the events of The Empire Strikes Back. The game blends third-person action sequences with vehicle-based missions, including speeder bike chases and AT-ST combat. Dash navigates iconic Star Wars locations while uncovering a conspiracy involving Xizor, the mysterious Black Sun leader. The N64 version features distinctive Mode 7-style rotating backgrounds and fluid 3D combat that defined early console action games.
