About the Game
This is an unauthorized Sega Genesis port made by Gamtec in 1998. Despite being named Super Mario Bros. 2, it actually ports the first Super Mario Bros. and is based on the SNES port. Its engine was remade, making the controls more difficult, and the bosses at the end of each world can now be jumped on like ordinary enemies.
